About Me!

That's me on the left, my husband on the right, who is my art and craft support person.  I am a retired computer specialist, now living my dream which is residing in beautiful northern New Mexico doing all those things I love to do but rarely had time to do when I was working.  I work now, but I enjoy what I'm doing--jewelry making, sewing, felting and some web development.  When I want a break from those activities, I go hiking on our land or in the many wonderful wilderness areas that New Mexico has, camera in hand, snapping photos of our picturesque landscape and adorable wildlife (husband and cat included!).

I began studying metal fabrication, using mostly sterling silver, in the spring of 2004.  I have had several silversmithing courses at the Taos branch of the University of New Mexico.  I have also taken a metal forming class from world renown master metalsmith, Harold O'Conner.  My most recent specialty class was learning to form metal using a hydraulic press.  This class was presented by David Anderson, a master jeweler from Taos, NM.  I love to continuously try new things and am always challenging myself to do more complex pieces.  I am currently working on some new designs and hope to have one on the website by the end of April, 2008.

I mostly sell my creations in a couple of local galleries and at local art and craft shows.  However, I will also sell through my website.
